Oh Carrie, that's just how we roll in the BKK! booty!

lol

I honestly don't think I can handle it, though, in all seriousness. It's a huge phobia of mine. You know the pickle girl on Maury? That's me with bugs. Especially big bugs.

OK, maybe not that bad, but close.

No, I got it to crawl on a pen, then placed it on a ledge outside (I figured it had a better chance crawling down to the canopy of trees, then starving to death in my room anyways).

I hate killing things just cause I think they're repulsive.

That's not important right now. Why don't you ever support the photoshop threads? They're rad.

You can't pee standing up either, and you made an appearance on my multi-stream of pee-standing-up thread. hmph!

I stepped on a rat yesterday. Was walking downstairs to go to the bathroom and just after the last step as I put my foot down at that exact point a rat ran across the floor and I accidentally stepped on it.

no way!!!!! shake

once I went to the WC in the middle of the night without bothering to turn the light on, and I stepped on something cold and squishy and wet disbelief but I didn't bother turning the light on to see what it was.
Next day I saw there was a silvery trail and up on the ceiling was a slug lol I hadn't killed it, on account of my very high arches, but where I'd stepped on it, the trail was substantially wider falloff

they are fucking gross

i stepped on one with bare feet once and squashed it

it makes their intestines come out of their ass barf feeling ill

it was more that instead of feeling empathy or guilt, you just said you made "their intestines come out of their ass".

I normally wouldn't press the issue but you sure got on that "meat is murder" high horse more than a few times.

At the core of this thread is a focus on the treatment, even in disgust or fear, of bugs, especially the unfamiliar, and to a larger scope - the animal kingdom in general.

why must you insist on dissing me for no reason ?

meat is murder , whether you can be honest to yourself or not
it's a fact
and that has fuck all to do with me being on my 'high horse'

well, relative to the animal kingdom from which meat originates, waltzing over slugs is manslaughter. neutral

Aaaaaand, I'm trying to figure out how it got in my room.

Give it a leaf or something to chew on, then just lower yourself gently. It'll hurt, but just for a little while.

Caterpillars kinda creep me out....especially the fuzzy ones. Always have. I don't mind butterflies of course. smile I'll never forget in high school, this girl freaked out in class when she saw a dead caterpillar by her desk. She interrupted the whole class. I would've love to have seen her reaction if it was alive and crawling. lol
