About a month ago I moved to a new apartment, so I have been buying little odds and ends. I have some other things to buy so I probably won't buy myself much of a "proper" gift; although I did order MPLS and Lotusflow3r on vinyl. boxed I just got the confirmation from France that they shipped today.

Did you know the Museum of Modern Art (NYC) currently has a Tim Burton exhibition on through late April?

Where do you live? If you're on the East coast, could you take a Chinatown bus? (I've never done that, but friends have -- it's supposed to be super cheap.)

If you get to NYC, I can get you a free ticket to MoMA. I walk by MoMA everyday on my way to/from work, and I volunteer at another museum so I can get free admission tickets to most US museums.

i live in Nevada right now, but i may be moving further east (only as far as Ohio, though) before april. lol either way i'm thinking that taking a bus is my best option.

I will check them out! Great tip!

The chaise in their standard fabrics was $1000 but I think I paid less than that even with the fabric purchase. And it looks so much better than what they offered.

Very nice! Again, thanks for the tip!

I don't know how far along it is but...

Read-to-Me: With the experimental Text-to-Speech feature, Kindle can read newspapers, magazines, blogs, and books out loud to you, unless the book's rights holder made the feature unavailable

I'm guessing eventually it will be something standard.
