Have u ever bought something.....and NEVER used it?

I noticed that my closet is full of expensive items that I have NEVER worn.
I also have a few synths and other gear that has never been turned on.
Is this normal? Do guys buy things that u have never used?

If I knew where COVER was, I'd stay there........and there would be no NEED 2 run 4 it.

I think clothing and novelty items tend to go unused for the better part. Like a coat, or formal attire. I bought hats, gloves, coats, shoes, (especially high heels that are for "not walking" ) and latex clothing.

I also don't use make-up. Some lipsticks never get used if I buy more than 2 shades at a time.

Oh,and my Lotusflower CD. Haven't listened to it yet. Really.

So am I... bought the stuff before I knew of my allergies (I became sensitive to latex gloves when I worked in a salon). But I can wear latex gloves again so I think I am OK (I guess my allergies weren't as bad as some). Latex condoms are another story.... that skin is different. :scurred:

With me, it's loaves of bread. A slice or two, then the next thing you know (weeks later), I'm throwing it out because it's moldy. Not a big bread person.

!! Yes, and iceberg lettuce always goes to waste in my home. I do better with using fresh spinach now in my salads and sandwiches.

My friend said he never uses his gym memberships.

So he joined again, and they have an option to put it on hold for like $10 a month, so just as he signed up he said "please put it on hold" lol

I just gave away a box full of oil paints.
I've been telling myself for years I will paint in oils. The medium is not immediate enough for me. It will never happen.

nod I hate being wasteful, but I have so many things I haven't used yet. There's something about feeling like I need things that lets me accumulate them, when there really is no "need" just WANT sigh
