Well if you mean the NEXT superbowl I choose the Packers. Othersise I'll go with the Eagles and Titans. You really should have done this before the games today.

I think the Eagles will go too. This question was asked a couple of weeks ago and I said I thought the NFC representative would be either Tampa Bay or the Eagles. Didn't pick an AFC rep, but after last week's games I said neither Pitt nor the 49ers would get there. I wasn't impressed with either team's secondary. They give up too many points.

That wasn't the problem. Both teams scored over 30 points in their wins, and today's loss for the Steelers. Be for real, now.

I think we have a GREAT chance against Tampa because their offensive line SUCKS. I think our defense will score a touchdown along with two offensive touchdowns. Niners win 21-17.

No. I bet on history. And history shows that if you don't have an effective defense you don't win the Super Bowl, no matter how good your offense is.

The Rams? You mean a few years ago when they won? It was effective enough for who they were up against. Had to be, or they wouldn't have (barely) won.

The Raiders gave up more points than the Steelers, so why don't you pick the Steelers to go further than the Raiders?

Confused about the edit

Agreed! And for some odd reason they'll kick an extra point so it'll be 89-3! eek

I never picked the Raiders to get there. And I don't want them to actually. But I don't think the Raiders' secondary is as weak as the Steelers'. Teams have been exploiting the Steelers' secondary since the very beginning of the season. Since they couldn't run on them. And it's odd, because the Steelers have traditionally had a solid defense all around.

I must admit, i actually hope the Raiders and Niners meet in the superbowl. It would be off the fuckin chain. And in the end just like in the past Nothing could be finer than to be a FortyNiner on Super Sunday

What if you knew they would lose. Would you still want them to go?

I'm the type of fan that's not bothered by my favorite team not getting to the big show if I believe they aren't good enough to beat the opposition. I'd rather lose in the playoffs than to lose in the Super Bowl.

HELL NO!! Do you know what the Raider fans would do to me?
I guess i'm spoiled between the 49ers and Lakers. If they don't win it all, it's a losing season. There's still room on the Niners bandwagon Nova(i saved you a seat).

After all the pain Green Bay has put us through, I am still a Niner fan. After some of those painful loses to stay with the team shows loyalty beyond human comprehension.

Oh, cry me an ocean! How many non-playoff seasons have the 49ers had since 1982 during their first Super Bowl? How many Super Bowls have they won in the last 21 years? 5. You don't know what it is to go through a drought with that team during the past 2 decades! evil
