nod u need to look very careful into what u eat these days. I believe the Bisphenol A is also responsible for breaking down your arteries and making lesions in them . SCARY things that are being placed in our foods.
Look to natural products every1 nod

Natural products can't be in a can?

Glass is not an adequate replacement either. It exposes food to ultraviolet radiation and sunlight, both of which break down the food being exposed.

the only canned thing i eat is baked beans and sometimes tuna.

i was always curious about maybe the crap in the metal going into our food. damn!

What 'crap' in the metal? It's the lining of the can. That prevents contact with the metal.

paper-covered glass and darkly pigmented glass are doable alternatives, if I recall correctly.

Might want to read the blurb from Consumer Reports:

http://www.consumerreport...l-a-ov.htm

BPA is not "poison" it will not instantly make you sick like a poison would. It may have health risks at certain levels, but nothing conclusive yet.

It's not just Campbell's. It is in "organic" foods and it is across all brands, even those that claim to be "BPA Free".

I'm all for looking for alternatives and agree our food is not a good as it could be, but "articles" like this are unnecessary fear mongering.

I just ordered some BPA free baby bottles.
Scary to think of all of the "chemicals" that are in/on our food and food products.

POM used to make tea in glass bottles.
I went to buy one the other day and now they have a label on them stating proudly that they have went to 'glass free containers'.
that is BS IMO. i swear i can taste the plastic container that anything, especially fruit juices are in. i try to avoid anything in any type of plastic.
i can taste. if i can taste it i feel its in there somehow.
and i hate that organic juices are packaged in plastic containers too.
paying over three dollars for an 8oz organic drink in plastic is BS.

plus the salt, did you see Sunday Night last night?

we aren't supposed to have more than 4g of salt per day, 2g is the daily requirement. To get a salt reading from sodium on the pack, multiply by 2.5 neutral
Canned stuff, processed food, bread, cheese, spreads, cereals, all massively salty without any need to be!!!! cry

BPA is in a lot of things. Like plastic water bottles and baby bottles.
Though I was just told that Canada has banned BPA from baby bottles and other baby products and the US is well on their way to do the same thing. Sadly, the UK is still behind the times.

What we may think we know all about the food industry...ain't really the case.
I knew some of these things but this is just dread!
The same ppl that are allowin shit (at times literally) in foods are the same ppl that the general public have to turn to for protection disbelief
I watched "Foodinc" documentary yesterday. It's sad.
Nobody can get away...at least not now...
and the way things are going with all this technology...
it just may get worse before gettin better.
I urge everyone to watch this documentary:

I swear the words "HATER" is wayyy over-rated...smh
