Has anyone done mystery shopping? I've been considering becoming a Mystery Shopper. Have you guys ever done it? If so, who did you go through?

No, sorry I havent... I know people do it for side money. I used to work for FedEx Kinko's and they used to contract through a private company to do mystery shops throughout the country. Most of the time, the Mystery Shops were on the phone. However, a lot of times, they came in the store. They would get jobs run, and act as regular customers. Be careful. There are scams out there under the guise of Mystery Shoppers. Do a little research and find a good company that does them for real. NEVER pay a company to work for them (which is what some of the scamming ones will do). If they mention sending you a $2000 check and send them something like $1500 back via Western Union....those are ALL signs of a scam. They should just pay you flat out, and not have money returned, ESPECIALLY via Western Union. Yeah, I got dupped into doing that. Thankfully, I knew the check was fake and contacted the authorities. They had the bank's name wrong. The company name on the check was a motorcycle company in Oklahoma and the "signature" on the check was of a fake name that was scanned in at a very low resolution. The paper also felt like standard bond paper and didn't have a watermark. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
