I'm using something called Easy GIF Animator, just on a limited trial. I downloaded 4 or 5 such programs but most would put text like their website link across the gifs or put 'Demo' on there. I think I have about 10 uses left only. You can do it in CS4 but it seems complicated to me, someone who never uses layers.
