Anybody gonna watch the new V tomorrow night??? I wonder how long it will take for us to see their Alien side.

Thanks to Mars, I won passes to see Men who Stare at Goats so I won't catch it but I am curious about it because I loved the first one.

I'm curious to see how they will play this out this time around. The original V was actually two miniseries followed by a short-lived TV series, so even by 1980's standards, they didn't have much time for anything but campy action. If this is reimagined ala Battlestar Galactica, then this could become one awesome series. However, I don't like that it's going up against NCIS.

i hope the guys get to wear long johns in the cooler again. that was so hawt.
or at least it was then. come to think about it, i don't remember much else about the show.

I saw the miniseries & series wayyy back when. I'll check this one out, I'm slightly curious.

planning on watching

I think it's strange marketing to take something terrible from the past and use it's brand to market something new & presumably good.

that practice almost made me miss Battlestar Gallactica because the old show was so bad. They even talked about how they had to get past the name when they were marketing it. So why use the name at all?
