Robin Givens Sent Me A Dozen Roses

Yes...this Robin Givens:



She starred in a play last night called "Deranged" with Keith Washington at the Millennium Theater in Southfield. She was the "deranged" nanny trying bust up a happy home of a Sistah from the Eastsiiide. The play was hilarious and her performance was hilarious. She does improv comedy very well. Who knew?

After the play was over, I left to take a friend home but my husband who is the Asst. Director of the Millennium, had to stay for the Meet and Greet.

He's got pictures of him with the cast and crew. As Robin was getting ready to leave, she handed him one of the many dozens of long stem roses that she'd received and told him to give them to me as a show of her appreciation for all the hard work he put into making sure the shows went on without a hitch.

I thought that was very sweet of her.

I can't wait until the next 6 Degrees of Separation thread.

I've always said that she got a bad wrap cuz of the Mike Tyson thing. I've always found her to be very sweet, gracious, and unpretentious.

I always thought of her as being a little bit... trashy - mainly because of Mike Tyson. I have no idea what she was doing with him. Was she trying to save him? Who knows?
