As for the case presented, I don't really know what you're talking about.

obviously she doesn't feel like she's much of a priority in his life When I was 16, I fully expected to be able to build my own KITT car.

If you constantly tell yourself that he doesn't really like you that much anyway, you won't feel so bad when you're rejected...trust me

oh man that's awful! but yeah, in most areas of my life my expectations are so low I'm rarely disppointed. My friend is always going around CONSTANTLY being disappointed by EVERYTHING!!!! she exhausts me so much, so highly strung and on the verge of tears most of the time When I was 16, I fully expected to be able to build my own KITT car.

I don't take it well one bit. In fact, it always seems that whenever I want someone, I can't have him/her, and whenever someone wants me, I'm not interested in that person.

YET when things go bad, I'm the strong one, the non-panicking one at the scene of the emergency PROBABLY because I DID sit there thinking - tic bite? croup? stab wound to the leg, missed out on our dream house at the auction, visiting dying friend in the hospital, how frail our lives are! And Valerie said to me on Tuesday "I like your driving so much better than Leo's" When I was 16, I fully expected to be able to build my own KITT car.

Q: Men..(and women) ..how do you handle rejection?
JaneyPoos used to be it... then they changed what it was. Now what I am isn't it and what is it is strange and frightening to me...

is that abuse??? Having emotions (like anger) isn't abuse. Arguing isn't abuse. Verbally or physically assaulting you as a consequence of that emotion is. |

In the scenario you've laid out, I suggest you handle it with jewelry - with a "better behavior" chaser.

Me too. Me three. And I don't take it well, either. Usually I'd get drunk but this time I like her so much and I'm scared of the mood I'd get in when I drink. Had that last weekend and it wasn't nice. Not one bit. And I'm like a junkie, I try to get every short conversation or glimpse of her I can get. Thankfully she works where I work. And I write songs, lyrics. Doesn't help one bit but it's just what I do. Hey loudmouth, shut the fuck up, right?
