My daughter just won a Battle of the Bands

A local coffee shop had their first Sound Check contest. Six acts performed - one rock band; two hip-hop acts; and three solo acts. My daughter was a solo act.

She played Taylor Swift's "You Belong to Me" and Colby Calait's "Falling for You". She rocked! The whole crowd was behind her.

She got almost three times as many votes as the second place finisher.

Not bad for a 13-year-old!
