Ever accidentally send an email to the wrong person?

Perhaps you'll feel better knowing you didn't make this mistake. So it seems a married guy who worked for Cornell had a whole long email thing going on with his also-married mistress, and somehow the guy (he worked in IT and had authority to send email blasts to the entire school, apparently) ended up sending their whole sexy exchange out to the world. And it's got some really graphic sex talk. Totally sucks to be them right now.

And now their whole string of emails is online.

So that's gotta be pretty much a crappy week for them.

I'm not the type to send naughty emails, but I do make sure to never email my personal email contacts from my work accounts. They should have been using personal email accounts instead of Cornell's.
The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

No, but I did receive an email once that wasn't meant for me. Several years ago two co-workers were exchanging racy emails and dude accidentally hit "send to all" instead of "send". I don't remember the exact wording, but it was a reply along the lines of 'I'd rather have you for lunch' and this was sent out to the entire company. A few minutes later we all got a very apologetic mass email from him.

lol

Year and years ago I got an email that wasn't intended for me. It was meant for someone named carrie, just not me. It was quite mean, actually. It was really long and it was from someone she'd had an affair with and he was going back to his main chick and he was basically calling her psycho and telling her never to contact him again. It was CRAZY. I had half a mind to write back and tell him he got the wrong carrie and not to be such an asshole about a break up but the email said he'd be blocking her emails anyway. lol

They should have used their personal email accounts, not the company's. disbelief

Ha-ha! Bagels. Oh boy.

My friend is a teacher and she once received an angry e-mail from a 'difficult' parent of one of her students. She forwarded the e-mail to her friend with something to the effect of,'Can you believe this bitch??' but instead of hitting 'forward,' she hit 'reply' so it went to the parent instead. Oops!
