Do u or anyone u know text a lot? I text about 2000 times a month.

I do it from time to time, but I really hate how impersonal it can be.
I'm hoping it goes the way of beeper and pagers circa the early 90s, honestly.

2000 times a month is ridiculous. You have a phone in your hand.....CALL SOMEONE.

Everyone rushed out to get cell phones to keep in constant touch w/ people, and now they can't imagine making a phone call on it before 100 texts go by first.

I text, but it's not even daily. But I do when I need to, not when I'm bored.

love it..not 2000 about 700 or 800...

Seems like I'm the only that isn't obsessed with it
everyone else around me is constantly texting!

HATE the texting era. It's opening up new avenues of rudness and bad behavior.

Yeah, my girlfriend texts ALOT. It came to my knowledge that she doesnt even call me anymore, she just texts me ALL the time. I dont know what her text status on her bill looks like but im sure its alot. I havent talked to her on the phone and had a real conversation in like 6 months. She just texts me about everything now. I wasnt a big texter but I have no choice, and it used to annoy me

I'm not, but my 13 year old cousin is. His record so far is 50,000 text messages in one month. His parents finally realized that he had a problem and took his phone from him. Now, he is having withdrawals just like any other addict. He even curls up in the bed in the fetal position because he can't text.

5 times a month.

it irks me when people treat it as if it were MSN, starting off with a "hey"

My last month's texts ran in the 5000 range...but it's the best way to talk to my bf while he is at AIT training in GA.

i use around 2500 a month. it makes sense for me; my peer group & friends all naturally use it to stay in touch. i'm more comfortable texting most people than calling them. they're gonna have to pry my blackberry out of my cold dead hands
