to the Org, with love

I wanted to say it for New Years but the Org was down and momentum was thrown. I don’t know how to say this but I will try.. and I know I will get clowned later and from other places and people for saying it but I don’t care..I will still say this.. This place is simply a website but it is also a community that can and does have meaning. Not only for the subject but for those who frequent it. Of course there are lives that go on in the real world but the place is a great sanctuary website, a great recreation, a great stress reliever etc etc…in other words it can be all things to all people (duh). I’m not done yet

I must admit some things..

I used to laugh my ass off in the old days of the org (summer of 2000) while in computer class. Literally had folks all looking at me because I couldn’t help but bust up from the craziness and humor. That’s when y’all had your groove on even though I was in another universe across the way. I submitted some infrequent news items etc but the place was never all too comfortable to me.

But jump to 2002 and the new change. Wow. What strides..what personality…but I would click over and just see the intro page and it had the top subjects etc. I would click these and think a lot of the info etc was redundant etc. I really didn’t think the new wave was anything to be excited about while bandaging wounds from war. Then one day I actually saw the icon for “complete list of forums”. I clicked it and BLAM! It was akin to when Dorothy opened the door after the house had fallen from the tornado in Wizard Of Oz and everything went from black and white to brilliant technicolor. It was like I opened the door and right then and there Money by Pink Floyd started playing. Doby to THX sound. All of these people…all of these subjects that I was into…damn. Once again I was late! My ass is always catching on late!

The place was weird and had this vibe. .this wackiness yet a warmth. Most places have this I’m sure etc and it takes a while to get to that point of cohesiveness and flow...and dare I say caring. Sometimes you have to care to be able to not give a shit. There is always love, hate, indifference, etc, but damn. It is like a family –extended family if you will that is at times a safe haven, a stressor, a friend, a lover, a punching bag and whatever else aspects of the world.

This hit home for me many months ago during summer and this holiday season it really rocked me and woke me up to it…with the org going down it was felt by many I’m sure. The net is a community and its legitimate.

Not everyone likes each other, the subject matter of the site is a man of dubious shenanigans at times but deep down a great artists and human being…it’s an exciting ride..the fanaticism of some on the site, the brashness, boldness, sexiness, COLDNESS, warmth, camaraderie, fights, music, knowledge, hate, love, desire, bullshit, sincerity, integrity of those here are all very special.

How can I put this in a complete sentence coherently? I feel like I found my real birth mother after being raised by the wrong one even though I love that mother who raised me very much lol —love it-hate it—but you cant ignore it. So many have made me laugh and think. I’m afraid to even mention for fear of leaving others out even if I’ve never conversed with them. How do you thank someone who has taken you from crayons, bootlegs to perfume? It isn’t easy bit I’ll try. Even those I have had beef with and will have beef with. I have no qualms with saying publicly that I love it all and you all.

On a serious tip,you are one of my favorite muffugga's and
i hope we can keep some type of friendship going.Cause there have been times when i've been down and you had me rolling and laughing my troubles away.I know i'm not going too far in saying the org family loves ya.You are the rare few who can make it sunny any day they choose.

Wow. I gotta say, I feel at least a smidgeon of what you do. I don't even interact all that much with most of ya'll. I mainly became an active member to keep up with the people I met at the last celebration (you know who you are...). And I don't contribute that much, really. But I lurk quite a bit. And when it went down, and came back up, I was sooo comforted and contented to see how everyone was doing. And just to "see" everyone again. So yeah, I feel what you're saying...
