I know it is the hardest thing I ever had to go through too as well. Even though it's been 8 years, it still seems like he just passed yesterday. I miss him everyday. I think it's really beautiful when we can acknowledge and never forget those that helped us on that track to loving ourselves. God has always brought those types of people into my life and I will never forget what they did for me and continue to do for me.
