I'm 6'1" myself, so I'd say "yes" in case she made the initiative herself.

I do have to say that it's the short ones that I run after though. I've seen some really beautiful taller women - hell, many professional models would be at least about my own height.- but I have a feeling that they usually go for the guys who are taller than them in any case. I would be more concerned over that being a problem for her than for me, for I see some seemingly petty factor being a troublesome for the other person I just let go. People are entitled to their preferences - even if you couldn't ultimately rationalize or justify them by any means - and you usually just can't change such things or force them upon anyone.

At 6", my experience is that men are insecure bastards if a woman is taller than them.

i went out with a guy who was 6'1" and wouldn't shut the fuck up about how tall i was. he didn't get past one date. another guy i dated in the past always stood up straighter and threw out his shoulders more around me, though he didn't with taller men or any other girls we were with. two boyfriends who discouraged me from wearing heels.

the one girl i've seen loved it and didn't care.

I am 6 ft. tall, and I have encountered some insecure men who like to make a big deal out of the height thing and say some really lame crap.

Personally, I would date someone shorter than me in a heartbeat

I would not and could not date a guy that is shorter then me. My man is around 6'1" I love it. One of my female cousins is 6'0" and she has some interesting stories of men that are intimidated by her height. She refuses to date anyone shorter then her because she is of the opinion they look ridiculous.

In order to underline the true social schisma involved here, I think most guys wouldn't have that much of a problem having sex (e.g. pick up a woman from a bar) with someone taller. But, for public dating and being seen constantly together they'd be more reluctant (I guess I could count myself in that same group too to a certain extent - but I have my own reasons). There's also the underlying assumption with dating that it could / should in the end lead to marriage if the two individuals are compatible. Heaven forbid if in that setting everybody would get to question who's really wearing the pants in the relationship.

Okay. After seeing this picture I can see now if they might seem like a funny couple to some.
