Question for the Org DJs...

Do you guys have a site that you go to find out what the people are all screaming for? Or maybe it's a forum where you go to compare notes/commiserate…

Not illegal (or maybe a membership type of club) but more of just a top list for bars, weddings, bar mitzvahs, etc.

I've been trying to use iTunes but it's really hit or miss so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

no, but you get magazines like mixmag and dj that have dance music charts etc, but for things like weddings, birthday parties etc the crowd is usually more varied, particularly of age from kids to grannies so you have to play a lot of hits and classics. usually you would ask the party thrower what they want to hear and try and figure out some artists and songs they'd like and you can work the rest of from there

Thanks, that's what I've been doing but I was told there's a few organized DJs out there.

The other thing is when people ask for something I don't have, that helps but with over 300,000 songs you can still never have it all...
