I think if he gives you 3 more,you can kind of sit and examine them, then think of what your next move will be. Sort of like making a pro & con list. But maybe you can call it your "Good Signal/Bad Signal" list. I was expressing shock that a someone would use the phrase "I'm going to miss you..." in a text to another colleague.

I was wondering if he meant "miss you" as in miss you in passing activity context (like the way you've try to reach someone for something and miss them because they've just become available right beforehand) or if he meant "miss you" you as in a feeling of personal attachmente.

See how tricky communicating on a screen can be? Very easily context can be misinterpreted....

...that's why you need him display more flirt signals before you make your next move

Today, i didn't see my baby until 1:00. This being his last day on my unit, 2 of the nurses baked brownies and carrot cake for him. This was just after lunch when they were getting set up in one of the conference rooms on my unit. I had just gotten my 1:00 TKA to the PT gym and had him on the Nustep machine. The phone rang, I answered. It was an orthotics company asking about another PT's equipment order. I went down the hall to the chart room to get the information for her and I walked past the conference room. Its probably 1:15 by now. I had noticed my baby in the room chatting with a nurse. He was looking luscious and lickedy as always with his lab coat on a chair. Then I heard him say my name, then a nurse yelled my name after him. He was calling me into the room to chat and have some of the baked goods with him. I told the nurse that my hands were full and that I'd come back when I had some time freed up. I dealt with the phone call and went back to the charting area to return the papers to the patient's chart and got sucked into the room by Dr R and the nurses where apparently they had been talking about what a good therapist I was and how kind a person I was. No doubt Dr R was leading the conversation. It seemed to turn into a party in honor of me than Dr R. It was weird. All this time, I have a patient waiting for me in the gym. Dr R sliced to hulking pieces of the brownie and carrot cake for me, smiled broadly and said, This is for you. I could have melted. Later on at about 2pm, we chatted in the hall where he told me AGAIN face to face that he was going to miss being on this unit and that I had been so kind to him and then he does it.....

I felt his hand on the small of my back!!

I could have died. I immediately put my hand on his lower back and continued our conversation and then a nurse came by with a huge pill cart, said excuse me and interrupted our moment. I could have hit her in the head with a brick!!

After that there was nothing to do but continue on with my case load. I saw him off and on until 4:45. He left to go home at 5.

I should re-name this thread: I LOVE THIS $HIT.

He said he was on call tomorrow night and he may need to leave at any given time to attend to patients should he be called. He assured me that he'd introduce me to the team athletic trainer that was "super nice" and he'd "take good care of me". We talked about a couple of our favorite restaurants in the area. Maybe we'll have time to dine together tomorrow night. Id rather have dinner at my place.

Dr R is so considerate and gentlemanly, chivalrous almost. We will be standing sideline at a high school football game and he is concerned about me being "taken good care of". My heart melts whenever I speak to him. Ladies and gentlemen, I'm sure you can relate. I feel genuinely treated whenever we are together, like its Christmas or New Years Eve.

I just finished a round of texts with Dr R. He says he was just getting home and that hes been up since 3 am and performed 3 surgeries almost completely on his own. He was saying that with each surgery there were different issues and how he managed the OR. I had to let him get some rest. My baby needs it. Pray for me yall. THIS IS IT! and I aint talking about the new Michael Jackson movie either.
