So now I adopt a team each year. My son and I are thinking hard about adopting Texas, but it's hard for me to do that.

They were our BITCH when I was in college.

That was a VERY long time ago, huh? comfort

But it was legendary that whoever won the SWC was going on probation . . . it just came with winning the conference. lol

If so, they better use it for the whole season. He's gonna miss more games I think.

He's out for a month.

woot!

They play Texas in Dallas at the State Fair in five weeks. I'm sure they'll make him play on that day even if they have to roll his ass out on the field. No way Stoops will let him miss the Red River Shootout. hmph!

62-3, just a shame for Charleston Southern. For some reason being in college is getting me into football. I somehow go caught up in the hype about the FSU-Miami game tonight, the U definitely brought it.

Now I'm thinking about trying to get tickets for the Tennessee game.

Ha, I never thought I'd be into this.
Kinda strange, kinda awesome.

Let's go Noles! Let's go Noles!
Way to open up a can of whup ass on the BYU Cougars.(fraud)
54-28

I like college football too but i'm not one of those people
that says it's better than the NFL. Hell no. My biggest problem
with college football is that it's won in a damn poll and not on
the field. I don't waste time at the end of the season watching
a bunch of mediocre ass 6-5 teams play in the Liberty,Independence,
and Las Vegas Bowls. They can have a playoff with the top 8 BCS teams
and let it be decided on the field. The NFL is exciting week to week.
I would much rather watch an NFL game live than to spend 50 or so on
a college game and watch Florida or Ohio State rip Troy or Akron a
new asshole.

Co-sign on this, College Football is good but it's wrong how a champ is decided by a stupid poll when a playoff would make so much more sense and MONEY!

SCNDLS, Mack B. decides to start Tre' Newton against UTEP. This should be a nice start to Tre's college career at UT. Tre' running was bad ass @ South Lake and I hope it continues @ UT... Nate wanted Tre' to attend the "U", but Tre' wanted to be a Longhorn.

their run defense is just fine...pass defense is non-existant...

honestly, their defense has been suspect for a few years now...Willie Martinez (Def.Coordinator) has to go...UGA has plenty of speed, size and talent on that side of the ball...but execution has sucked...this weekend, against Arkansas, coverage was pathetic...I have no idea where he gets his formations from but he should return the book for a full refund...

Was anyone surprised that Ole Miss was a fraud?
Hell i don't even think they are a top 20 more
or less top 5. I root for South Carolina to have
success but growing up in Columbia, they were always
posers too except for a few glorious years under
Joe Morrison and Lou Holtz.
Go Noles! Go Va Tech and bust the hurricanes in

Hurricanes are going to rout Virginia Tech. Get ready. Miami is for real.
South Carolina is still a poser.
If they are ranked it will only be until their next game.
