Have u ever seen a real Ghost?

I have never seen one but I do think its possible,try telling a therapist u saw one and they mite lock u up.Anyways my grandma told me she saw one. I forget how it went,ill do my best. about 50 years ago a man was walking in the dark with a light and sumhow his head got cut off,i think it had sumthin to do with a train but ill have 2 ask her again. She told me another story about them going to the railroad at 4am and they sat in the car just 2 c if ghost was gonna. she said they saw a light from a distance and it kept gettin closer and in their first attemp to leave the car wouldnt start then it started 2 shake on its own. Anyways have u ever had or heard of a true ghost story?

Oh! and the place where it happened is like 15 minutes from where i stay. so i mite go there one nite just 4 a thrill.

i believe i have. more than once. ghosts, spirits, whatever you choose to call them.

Well I don't actually believe in them to be honest, but I did get totally freaked out by what I would say was an hallucination brought on by sleep deprivation.

I was unpacking the dishwasher late one night and stood up with a hand full of plates to see a man in a dark suit and hat (maybe 1920's or 1930's style) glide through my living room from the hall door into the fireplace. Needless to say I almost shat myself. I was like a hazy still image (ie legs not moving) but he was in a walking-style position, as if he was about to take a step.

Fast forward five years later and I discover that the fireplace is where the back door used to be. Then I found some old photos of the people who owned the house before us and indeed I did recognise the man. Apparently he died in 1952 or something like that.

I still don't really believe it though. Hallucination, acid flashback, over-active imagination or actual ghost?

Some people say that ghosts are just imprints left from emotion. Not sure what to think.....

I'd think acid flashback is the most logical and scientific solution

That said, there may be something more to it. In the same house as a child I used to dream of two old ladies tending the garden. When I described it to my parents apparently I described the garden exactly the way it used to be in the 70's before my parents had bought the house, and I had also described to a T the two old ladies they had bought the house from. Needless to say it's all a little creepy.

Um, when I was younger, my parents' bedroom was diagonally across from my sister's. She was lying on her bed taking a nap, and I was watching TV on my parents' bed. The hallway is short, but from the direction of the wall, a faint image of an old woman in a blue dress glided down the hall. I was like,
My sister sat up on her bed across the hall, and said, "U saw it, too, huh?"

Another time, I woke up to the same woman standing over my bed. She didn't say anything or move, just faded away. My bedroom had been the bedroom of the people who owned the house before my parents (they had built it). They had moved to SC, where she died, and he had a new wife.
Once he died down South, there were no more cold spots or sightings of "blue" in the house anymore. I guess she had been looking for him.

She was nice when she was alive- my parents used to take us to visit them in SC when we were kids. That didn't mean I wanted to hang with her later on, tho!

My mother has a story. She came home from dancing one night and used to stay at my dads mothers house before they were married, and would share the bed with my nana. She had just got into bed and was still awake when she saw a man sitting very calmly on the end of the bed, she said he was dressed in clothes like that from the turn of the century possibly captain like hat on, she said he looked very serene. She was very scared but couldn't move and must have eventually fallen asleep.

She also had another strange occurrence when she was about 13yrs old when she went to the dentist and was put under anesthetic. She remembers seeing the most amazing light all around, kind of tunnel like, and all she wanted to do was follow the light as she said it was the most amazing feeling. But a voice came to her (it was a mans voice) and said "go back Shirley, it's not your time yet". I know a lot has been said on this topic, especially being under anesthetic etc. but I thought I would share it with you.

No I haven't seen a ghost but I do know they are out there. I've certaintly had my share of experience with strange phenomena because ghosts can manifest themselves onto our plane of existance and different things can occur.

I also had a dream one night (actually early morning) which woke me because of the touch I thought I felt, and my 3yr old daughter at the time was in bed with me and woke up 5minutes later crying of the same thing happening in her dream. It was our 2nd night in this particular house. It scared me so I told it to please go away in very firm terms.

Yes, I saw a man in a suit and a hat walk by my bed the other night after he grabbed my toes and jolted me awake.

It wa the first time I actually saw him. I thought someone broke into my house at first. It's been messing with me for years. It grabbed my foot again the other night and giggled and a few weeks before said said, "Hi" directly in my ear. It shakes my bed, has smacked me in the back of my head, tapped me on the back, blew cold air in my face, turned my stereo off - it's really scary but what can I do?

Yes! I dont believe in any of the stuff well I didnt.

I was at a country guy's house in the sticks. He lived with his mom she had bibles everywhere! Well she was out of town and he was throwing a party and he was dating a stripper/hooker. (yes long story, the guy was strange) well I was there first and a bunch of band guys were coming over. Well his girlfriend and her stripper friend were there first.

so it was me, him & those 2 sitting at his mom's kitchen table. They were there for like 20 minutes and we did the once around the house to show them the house and they notice all the bibles & crosses, you can see it on their faces.

well we were at the table he was facing me I was facing him - but I could see in the living room & further back.. the 2 girls were right and left of me sitting in chairs.

all of a sudden, me & the 2 girls saw a ghost walk from the bathroom into the living room, "she" was wearing a 1900's night dress and a old style hat. I saw it straight on and the 2 girls saw it out of the corner of their eye.

id say it was about 25 feet from us.

as soon as it happened us 3 said " did you see that! " "really what did you see" and we all decribed the samething.

They left about 5 minutes later and to this day the guy/owner of the house doesnt believe me. It was a house in the family for over 100 years.

After my Uncle passed away...I woke up to find him sitting in the chair in front of my bed.
