U.F.O.s

Just lately, I've found myself on the edges of the net, reading all I can about U.F.O.s, alien abductions and extra-terrestrial life etcetera - I have no idea why.

I believe that I've seen two U.F.O.s myself, but none recently. I think I was like 14 years old when I saw the first one and 16 when I saw the last. Maybe I was just more imaginative when I was younger; maybe younger people are more receptive; maybe I was crazier back then - or maybe I just grew old and stopped looking at the sky so much.

Does anybody else believe in U.F.O.s? Does anybody else think they've ever seen one? Are they alien?; humans from the future?; another version of Earthlings from another dimension?

Is anybody scared to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, in case there's a bug-eyed alien waiting to probe you, outside your bedroom door? lol

Does stuff like this, scare you?

Anxiety

i don't NOT believe in UFOs or aliens, but i'm skeptical about what the tabloid media and the internet offer as "proof". i don't find the possibility of alien life on earth to be any more frightening than the earth-born nutjobs i have to encounter every damn day. lol

I believe that planet Earth is not the only planet that supports life.

Somewhere in other solar systems ..... yep UFO's exist.

Well a UFO is technically an unidentified flying object, which includes unknown animals, human war technology, and natural things like some new kind of plasma cloud of energy....

but I think you mean alien vehicles.

i think when we finally do discover alien life, it's going to be a lot less interesting than all the movies and sci fi books and whatnot. in reality, we'll probably discover some kind of damn jupiter fern or something. shrug

I've seen that too, except it was four dots in a square. One by one, they merged into the top-left light, and then that light simply disappeared.

I think half of Houston, Texas saw it.

There's a name for it - triangulation, I think. Most people that have seen this saw it in a rural area, and there's allegedly some bending of time and/or space that comes along with it.

Every since I learned about the possible Oort cloud that surrounds the solar system, I can't shake what Ms. Ax said long time ago about there being a "do not enter" sign on this solar system somewhere.

At this point I don't believe intelligent alien life forms are visiting this planet because I've heard all my life that "they've" been visiting Earth for 1000s of years, I would think by now any thing capable of traveling through space many times faster than the speed of light or able to find somekind of short cut through space would get bored just doing drivebys looking at us, or would be able to be more discrete about their observations. With that I believe in the capacity of human beings and their need to push limits so that the things that have been seen are possible experiments that may or may not have made it to the production lines.

Never again, not I.

When my cousin and I were around 10 years old we thought we saw something. We were in his front yard and we looked up. We saw what looked like a Hot Air Balloon. It was traveling North at a snail's pace then all of a sudden it turned East and disapeared at lightning speed. We just stood there with our mouths open.

The first U.F.O. I saw was triangulated lights in a dark sky. It was only early-evening in Winter, whilst walking down a busy street. What made it catch my eye is that it wasn't moving... It was just sat there. I stopped walking, waiting for it to do something - and it did. Two "flares" shot out from the three lights and I followed the trajectory of the flares with my gaze. When I tried to focus back on the three lights they'd gone.

My second U.F.O. was mid-morning one Autumn. It was one of those mid-September mornings where you can smell the soil, the sky is Abbey Road blue and the chill in the air is refreshing, rather than biting.

I thought that I was about to walk into a soap bubble, so instinctively flicked my hand in front of my face. After standing still, I realised that it wasn't immediately in front of me, but high in the sky. Like before, the fact that it just hung there in the sky, is what gave me goosebumps. It was probably only stationary for ten seconds before it seemed to pivot, like a plate stood on it's edge, slowly being revolved. It just disappeared after the pivot motion.

On both occasions, after seeing the things, I felt a little edgey for a few days after. I also recall my surroundings being ominously quiet - no traffic noises, birds singing, etc.

Maybe they were hallucinations, but I never saw anything like them since in the last 20 years.

It's just weird that I'm thinking about them now.
