Have You Seen the Hot New Sunglasses? My co-worker was wearing one of these yesterday. I have never seen anything like it. I know it's mean, but I was confused, scared & on the verge of tears of hysteria when I saw this. Is this popular in Asia? My Legacy

It may be related to this trend... I understand the dangers of sun exposure and all. But the visors are not really as effective as an umbrella, and not really more effective than big sunglasses, are they? My Legacy

I did know a Korean girl who said she was allergic to the sun; she used to get blisters & rashes really easily.
But the visors are just strange. What about a hat? Maybe I'm just getting old? My Legacy

Frankly, sometimes I have to. I definitely understand, I wear big ol' hats when I am in the sun for very long. But do you think the visors are that much more practical than sunglasses? Your neck & the sides of your face are still exposed. My Legacy

It looks like something a celebrity would wear when shopping to avoid being recognized. Although a visor that large calls so much attention that it would defeat the purpose of someone trying to not stand out.

You mean like a surgical mask? I can totally see Michael Jackson wearing one of these in public. If he were still alive.

Ummm...yeah. It's called a visor - not sunglasses. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

But it looks like a rock fell on the visor and knocked it into the person's face.

Ooh... It's very Kylie-esque.
You couldn't wear something like this when buying milk at the corner shop - unless you're Grace Jones, I suppose.
