Women, have you ever shaved your head?

There are days where I absolutely hate my hair. It's very fine, has split ends, just hangs there, has no body what so ever, and sometimes I think "I just want to shave it off,and start fresh. Am I alone in this? Have you ever shaved your head? If you did,did you wear a wig till it grew back? hmmm

Yup, I did it, twice. I totally loved it - no hair maintenance, and it was so much cooler in the summer. I don't think I have any pictures handy right now, or I'd post them. I never wore a wig, though some days I wore pretty bandanas. I just made sure I wore lipstick every day so I didn't get mistaken for a man. lol

about a couple summers ago i had a mohawk, so the sides of my head were buzzed real close. it was kinna nice because my head stayed cooler when it was blazing outside...haven't gone full-on bald. i'd look too odd.

I wore my hair in a very short style, but not shaved since I have a large noggin, and a very round face. If you have a more diamond shaped face, you can pull off a shaved head.

I would really hate to have to because I have an odd-shaped skull (I believe).

However, at the rate that I'm losing hair, I may not have a choice.

I have considered it. But I usually end up going to the salon and get a good deep conditioning.

So for the ones that have, did it come back a different color or texture? Such as you had straight hair, and it came back curly or you had brown hair, and it came back blonde?

Nope, it came back just the same. Except there was no damage, of course, since it was brand-new hair.

I cut it all the way to the scalp before, I loved that free feeling even tho a lot of my friends didn't like it. To hell with them, it eventually grew back to my shoulders. DO YOU. nod

I almost always keep my hair short. In about a month I had what you could call a short pixie cut, like this:

It's what you make it.

I've seen it done in real life by a beautiful woman I once knew... love It can be done. I think Natalie Portman, Erykah Badu and Sinead O'Connor have done variations on the look to nice effect.

Actually my sister did it once, I thought it was awful. She didn't compensate by wearing makeup or anything else to enhance her femininity. She would just walk around w/ no makeup, no earrings, round/unshapely, w/ this bald fucking head confused Honestly, it was hard to look @ her for that stretch disbelief
