Georgia Woman Kills Lover, Self What is WRONG with humans?
STATESBORO, Ga. -- Police say a Statesboro woman fatally shot a woman she was romantically involved with and set their house on fire before killing herself. Statesboro police Chief Stan York said in a statement Thursday that preliminary autopsy results showed 27-year-old Kiona Thais Lively shot Naumbyia T. German multiple times early Wednesday morning. York said Lively then set German's body and the house on fire and shot herself. York said the apparent murder-suicide happened during a domestic dispute between the two women, who were romantically involved. German's mother lived with the couple. York said Lively dropped her off at a nearby motel before the shooting. Police found the older woman there unharmed and unaware of what had happened. | |

Murder-suicides are really on the rise these days. I pass by this house everyday where a woman killed her boyfriend, then herself. I remember driving by while they were doing the crime scene investigation.
