Why is Tyler Perry's House of Payne still on the air? I'm sitting here watching this show ondemand. I haven't watched it in a while, but decided to try to watch it to see what's happening on the show.
They have attempted to expand their audience by adding Hispanic characters. I love the idea, but the way it is being presented doesn't make it look or feel authentic. Is it me, but I think that all of the actors are HORRIBLE The younger people on the show are all good looking, but couldn't act their way out of a box. Not to mention that a couple of the guys look like they came out of a gay magazine. The writing on this show is horrible! The dialog is horrible! Let's just say that I will not be watching this crap anymore. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

I can't stand his junk in ANY format. But a friend of mine in the industry told me that TP has a lengthy guaranteed contract with TBS for this wack ass show.  | |

I guess that's part of their appeal. All of the young guys (even the supporting cast members) are good looking. I thought I was the only black person that didn't like Tyler's BS. I'm glad that he's accomplished what he has, but it's all waaaay over the top and very contrived. The actors don't have any chemistry together and the story lines are HORRIBLE. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

TBS believed the hype & entered into a huge contract w/ him, this garbage will be on the air for quite a while    I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it | |

hopefully it will get better with time, might turn into something worth watching.

Gladys Knight and Boris Kodjo making guest appearances aren't going to help this pile of crap. Tell me why he shouldn't he be held to high standards? He's in the game to make "good" television shows and he keeps delivering a stage play type show and not a television show. If this was on any other network, it would have been dropped so fast. My problem is that this man is not really investing in this show to make it better. Instead of him broadening the characters, hiring better comedy writers, and a decent director; he goes and hires more actors and extras, builds tacky sets (that mall set is HORRIBLE! I made the mistake of watching one of his Madea movies and haven't indulged in his material since. All I got from the movie was a rehashing of old assed stereotypes which unfortunately reinforces many negative perceptions currently being held by "pointy-hood" types.....
