So ... at the moment i'm staying in the United States as a foreign exchange student, and the people i'm staying with took me on vacation in Chicago for Spring Break this week.

We went out to Hard Rock Café for my birthday Tuesday night and I had never been to one before .. It was so cool.





This might be pathetic but I felt so cool standing next to that thing knowing that it had touched Prince's body before


So, while my host family was thinking about what they wanted to order, our waiter started talking to me. He asked me how old I was and I told him I was actually turning sixteen that night; when he asked where I was from and I said Austria, he laughed and said he felt sorry for me and that I was pretty screwed stuck in the US (apparently he knew that 16 is the legal drinking age in Austria ).
Well, anyway, after we got done eating, he came up to our table with that thing:


A little birthday raspberry ber-, uhm, sorbet

He took my hand and dragged me to the center of the Café and yelled out loud "So this is Nina, she came all the way from Austria and it's her sixteenth birthday tonight .. show her how we celebrate that here, America!" and made everyone sing Happy Birthday for me

I thought it was so cool

And yeah ... Prince was watching

16 is the legal drinking age?? Holy crap

OMG, how cool is that??? Makes me want to go to the Hard Rock Cafe in Chicago, check it out. We have one here in Cleveland, and the one time I went there, I don't remember seeing ANYTHING Prince related on the walls. But that's Cleveland for ya, this town put the "b" in the word "backwards".

Not sure, but I know he wears a smaller size than I do. I read or heard once that he wears a size 5? I'm unsure as to whether that is true or not.

Well, a 5 in men's is a 7 in women's I think. My feets still too big, and we sho as HELL can't share clothes.
