I JUST LOVE THESE THINGS!!! every time there is a bird to be roasted
(turkey or chicken) i have always gotten this chunk of meat it is a most coveted of all the things that they wrap up and stuff back in the bird before you buy it, ie. neck,live etc. it is called THE GIZZARD!!! does any one have any idea of WHUT THE FUCK IT IS??? if the word is unfamiliar to you, let me discribe it. sence the birds are female the gizzards can't be BIRD NUTS but at first glance it dose look like a set of testicles... WHUTU IS IT, AND WHUT IS IT'S FUNCTION... i'm old enough to know now. I AM King BAD a.k.a. BAD,

Well, I remember my mom telling me that the gizzards are the "guts" of the bird. Something about it being by the stomach and it helping to digest the food that the bird eats... my dad called it the "shit sack" when I was little.
Gibblets are the gizzards, heart and liver. I don't eat any of it... my dad loves it all.  | |

I've heard gizzards used in english slang 'Punch u in the gizzard'. Apparently, according to my dictionary, it is part of the stomach.
Gizzard eating is wrong man... disgusting. But hell, what's the difference between eating it's stomach or it's outer flesh? I'm vegetarian and I seriously don't understand the pickiness of meat eaters... it's all the flesh of something dead man... | |
