Christmas is actually my least favorite holiday. Even when I was a child, I was never really into Xmas. I mainly enjoy the family aspect more than anything. And I like watching my father and my mom watch the Twilight Zone Marathon. smile smile

All of my immediate family and extended family on my father's side lives in Southern California, so I will be there for the holidays. I live in New York, so I'm trekking coast-to-coast for Xmas.

New Years Eve is the one I always get depressed on, that pressure to have a blast really gets to me, and mostly I end up stuck at home minding the kids these days confused

Come down to the "Kids" Fireworks at the Yarra or Docklands! U're in & out before "Scumbag Rush Hour" nod

Exactly!!! I hate it when people look at me and say, "You're skinny, you don't need to diet." rolleyes On the contrary, if I were to eat everything I wanted, I would gain weight easily. I do have a weight problem, and have to be very careful with what I eat. I succesfully lost 60+ pounds a few years back, and do not wish to gain it all back again. Dieting is hard, but so is keeping it off. It's a never-ending cycle for me, unfortunately, but it's something I have come to accept.

Spending christmas eve with our friends (the kids all play in the conservatory/play room) and the parents sit chatting in the kitchen!

Christmas Day at my parents house - though this year will be bitter sweet, my nan usually spent christmas with us at my parents but she passed away in february, so it'll be our first without her for years. BUT it'll be our Baby Elsa's first christmas woot!

Christmas Eve is gonna be at my brother and sister-in-laws house - C Eve is usually the most fun as all the family kids get together to open all their gifts - it's heartwarming flurry of frenzied paper tearing, laughter and squeals of joy! I love it!

I think we have something planned for New Year's Eve, but for the life of me I can't remember what hmmm

I will be dragging my butt round Disney and Universal Studios - on vacation in Orlando for Christmas and the New Year.

Oooohhoohooo! Good luck with that! It's supposed to be absolutely MANIC over christmas. I'm extremely jealous though - I love WDW - we went the first 2 weeks of december last year and it was FABULOUS, especially the MVMCParty.

Have a fab time

Yeah! We'll most likely be there with friends & their kids! We haven't decided which it'll be though! We'll probably give Docklands a go this year!
