Can we talk about Chris Rock's *Kill the Messenger* and why this man should be president?

Or, if you wish, compare and contrast it with Bring the Pain, Bigger & Blacker and/or Never Scared. bored

I am just really reminded every time I see him, how many really great points he made in Head of State.

Even though Chris is, like, one of my favorite human beings ever, the only films of his I've seen are Down to Earth disbelief and I Think I Love My Wife. thumbs up!

Head of State was panned but you should see it. He has a lot of common sense things he says about the presidency.

I'll put it on my list. I should note that the last time I got to something on my list was 1998.

I posted this shit in P&R yesterday and nobody said a gatdamn thang. I'm even paying tribute to him in my siggy! lol

Chris Rock's Kill the Messenger special on HBO this weekend? That shit was fuckin' hilarious. I loves me some Chris love My favorite part was when he was talking about the fact that there are only 4 black families in his neighborhood, his, Mary J. Blige, Jay-Z, and Eddie Murphy. But his next door neighbor is a dentist. lol disbelief

He is on point about the sex. Everything that he talks about in how men and women stay together and how they do it in the bedroom is dead on!

Very cool how they edited from 3 different shows. Very cool look. I like all of Chris's stand up and have them all on tape. I enjoyed this one as much as the others. I like how he incorporates him being a celebrity into his standup. He does a very good job "keeping it real". You can see he hasn't lost any of his "edge" compared to his earlier HBO concerts. Not like Murphy with Delirious and then the bloated "Raw". "Raw" was so bad, that shit scared Eddie himself from ever doing stand up again. Chris is a pure comedian who loves stand up. It's who he is. So although time has passed between each special, Chris continues to bring it and is still razor sharp and witty as hell no matter how much time has passed. The older he gets, the more on point he gets. And other comedians haven't kept him off the stage either.

Hopefully it's funnier than George Carlin's final HBO special.

No. He said on Stern that he generally has a bunch of fellow comedians come watch his set before taping his HBO specials, for feedback.

His standup if always funny imo. He needs to stay the hell away from movies
unless he is the supporting actor. His movies where he's the lead actor have
been average. I like I think i love my wife simply because Kerry Washington playing a skank alone was worth the price of admission. lol

Some of my favorite quotes:

"Pussy cost money, but dick is free! Any money you (a woman) spend on dick is a bad investment. Nothing dries up a pussy quicker than a woman reaching for her wallet." nod
Preach, fool, preach!

"No, you gon' do a girl everyday! You betta get some bunk beds in this muthafucka." falloff

"Spitters are quitters. Half the women in here are grossed out and the other half are in loving relationships!" spit

I just watched part of it again and if Chris is not still The Funniest Man Alive (and he may very well be), he is certainly in the Top 2.
