What's Your Favorite Kind Of Apple?

This apple is my favorite:



The Red Delicious apple. It's crunchy, juicy, and sweet. I don't like soft apples, or apples that are overly tart.

My mom and I drove out to an apple picking place again this year, and picked our own apples. I told myself before going out there that I would not pick as many Red Delicious apples as I did last year. But I wound up getting almost as many (almost a whole big bag full!) There is something about picking apples that is so fun, that I can't stop myself once I start. I jokingly told my mom that I think I'm obssessed with apples. Now I have a big bag of apples to eat. I probably will wind up making apple sauce, like I did last year, to eat up the apples so that they do not spoil.

Oooh, that sounds good! The place where my mom and I went had Golden Delicious, but I didn't pick any of them. Maybe next year I'll get a few, just to try them.

I can't eat apples to often...they make my tummy hurt.

I enjoy several kinds though right now the North Carolina Honey Crisp is rocking

The kind that's drenched in caramel.

The Red Delicious.. I had one just yesterday too.. and there's another one waiting for me in the frig lol .. I'm trying to get away from chocolate and eat more fruit..

To eat plain I like Red Delicious and Braeburns. They of course have to be firm and juicy and sweet. No mushy apples.

But, I make an amazing homemade apple pie with Granny Smith apples. I add sugar and cinnamon and it's just the right combination of sweet and tart.

second choice is Ida

Pretty much all of them as long as they're very firm, crisp and cool. Sweet or tart doesn't matter so much, it all depends on my mood. I love fresh apples.
