As much as I give Al credit for hiring the first Black coach in the modern era and appointing the first female president of football operations, it's about time his ass give up the team or at least put it in more capable and COMPETENT hands. Dude will never be happy with any coach he chooses.

And Mike Shanahan enjoys kicking the crap ou of the Raiders almost every time he has played the Raiders since.

Al Davis has screwed so many people/communities over including Alameda county where I live and where the Oakland Coliseum is.

Let's not even talk about the drama between him and Marcus Allen.

That was so wrong. Marcus is one of the greats and Al Screwed him over to.

Mt. Davis SUCKS!!!! I have sat in those nose-bleed seats but I sure and the hell did not pay for the tickets. It is a nice view up there, you can see all the way across the Bay....but that is not what I went to the game for!

At one time Al was a football genius and an innovator who did a lot for the NFL. But now he's a joke and needs to be put out to pasture.

As I recall Shanahan sued and won.

Raiders owner Al Davis accused recently fired coach Lane Kiffin of lying and propaganda that had been going on for months.
In a lively and at times bizarre press conference, Davis added that Lane wanted to hire his father Monte as defensive coordinator, and that Monte was on board with the plan. According to Davis, Kiffin asked to be let go for a possible college job and Bobby Petrino left the Falcons so suddenly in order to beat Kiffin to Arkansas. Other highlights: Davis blamed Kiffin for trading Randy Moss and referred to ESPN's Chris Mortensen as a "professional liar."

I'm sure the Tampa Bay front office is thrilled to hear that. Sounds like tampering to me and I bet the NFL will look into this.

Sh!t's getting ugly....

Hate to say it man, but until Al leaves this world, the Raiders will continue to stay in the toilet. It's a shame, because at one time, Al was the MAN and the Raider franchise was the epitome of excellence.
