I've mentioned this movie before, but the movie "Eric" made me cry every time I've watched it. It came out in 1976, I believe. This is the storyline that I found on the web:

Eric is a young athlete stricken with leukemia who refuses to give up the life he leads so vigorously, competing with death until the very end. Based on a true story from the book by Doris Lund.

This movie is soo soo sad! bawl Didn't know that it was based on a true story until I read it on the web. sigh I couldn't find a picture of it online to post. but this movie is really really touching! Especially when Eric is laying there dying, and his sister is there with him saying, "You're almost there, Eric. You're almost there." bawl I'm crying now just thinking about it! sigh Funny thing is, NOBODY seems to remember this movie but me. lol
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

"Phantom of the Opera" made me cry too. The singing really touched me at times, it was beautiful. touched Other movies I have cried at:

* "Where The Red Fern Grows" (another 70's movie about a boy and his two dogs. I remember being kind of embarrassed because at the end of the movie, I was crying in front of my mom. I remember asking her for a tissue at the end of the movie, so I could dry my eyes). lol

* "Beaches" (I think us ladies (and perhaps some of you men too) can relate to having an old friend that we don't always talk to, but we know that they are there for us, no matter what. Which is pretty much what the storyline was in this movie. It was sooo sad when the one friend passed away at the end!). sad

There are probably others too that I can add to the list, that are not coming to me right now.
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I saw an amazing film called Oasis, a South Korean film about a social misfit and a woman with cerebral palsy who fall in love. Long after the film finished I had tears streaming down my face and for days after, every time I thought about it or described it to someone, I'd get choked up.
I highly recommend it, it's probably the best love story I've seen. Much better than anything out of Hollywood.
cool

Too many.

Neophyte

Always cry while watching:

* Immitation of Life - old black and white movie staring Lana Turner and Sandra Dee - If anyone else knows it, it's always at the funeral scene where the daughter shows up; actually before that as soon a Mahalia Jackson starts singing the tears come.

* Glory - When that one tear drops down Denzel's face (you know that bit) the waterworks start.

I can't think of any others, but those two always always get me.

The part that really gets me is...

Last movie I saw that really made me cry was The Notebook

nod I didn't even want to see this one. A friend talked me into it. First time I saw Ryan Gosling. I've seen it 10 times and it gets me every damned time. Brokeback Mountain definitely!! Still cry when I watch it.

And just make fun of me now because I still cry when I watch Armageddon. I tell myself I won't because my son makes fun of me and it's ridiculous to cry watching that movie, but I can't stop the tears. lol
