random question for those that know me here on the org ...
A person I know just wrote to me and said I was " flaky and unreliable " I have not often thought myself as such

I don't know you on any kind of personal level, and can't come to any conclusion by the posts you make.
Was this someone you knew well? Someone from the org? | |

Yes, you are. Oh and then asking me to post raw-vegan recipes and treating that thread like the plague--that too. But with all else, I don't know you well enough to pass that kind of judgement. I'm so unreliable myself that I can't judge even if I thought that of you. | |

And I don't know you that well but I'd say that I've read about many examples of your steadfast devotion to your family and friends and IMO there ain't nothing flaky or unreliable about that.

From our interactions on the org and through mod "business" and whatnot, I'd say you're anything but.
I had someone say something to me recently that really struck me oddly as well. It wasn't necessarily bad, but they saw me in a way I definitely don't see myself and it had me wondering for days if others saw me that way as well. |

maybe in your relationship with that particular person they may feel they have reason to think that way about you, even though they may not be traits you'd normally associate with the way you carry out relationships with friends, family, etc. maybe that friendship just needs a bit of attention right now. | |

Carrie this came from a person ( woman ) who I have several weekly interactions with on the kind of level our Mod stuff puts us at and in other ways as well. She is a dance sister with Jessica and we have "worked" together now for around 6 yrs. I am greatful on one hand to have been handed an opinion about myself that is outside they way I see myself- gives me lots to think about for sure | |

I am certian I have had moments of flakyness in my 44 yrs - though not an overall theme
I am still dwelling on the "unreliable" statement concerning my relationship with this person I am 99.5 % sure that everything I said I would do I have and then some I have been there in a pinch and covered things others have left undone or forgotten. I feel in this situation I have NOT been unreliable | |
