My local supermarket has a knock-off version of them for only $1.00 per cup.
Unfortunately, they keep 'em in the same open freezer bins as the regular ice cream, so that they thaw just enough to bind the granules together.

shrug

$1.00 is a good price.

Yeah, and the kids don't seem to mind that the dots are all stuck together.

WTF? You've never had them! confused

Anyway, they're OK, but nothing special.

I never had them because, as I said above, they just don't appeal to me. I can't eat things that don't look good. I'm sure there probably are things that you don't like to eat because they don't appeal to you either. wink

There are a few things I'm unwilling to try, but I'm not going to say I don't like them. I don't know that. (BTW, there is no dessert I won't try at least once.)

ill falloff I've seen those kinds of desserts on TV. Apples that are covered in worms, etc. etc. Not sure how some folks can eat stuff like that, but some do. They must have pretty strong stomachs.

It's all cultural conditioning.

I mean...we eat THESE:

...cleaned, battered and fried of course so that it looks more pleasing;

Nah, I was just joking. I guess I could argue that the presence of a bug precludes being called a dessert IMO. lol
