I've come to a difficult conclusion...

I'm pretty sure it's official. Honey Nut Cheerios is my favorite cereal.

It's a difficult choice, because I am a lover of cereals. Cinnamon Life. Cap'n Crunch (peanut butter AND crunchberry, thank you). Even the boring ol' staples of Rice Crispies and Corn Flakes are welcome in my world.

But yeah, I think it's all about Honey Nut Cheerios. They're a honey of an O, what can I tell you. shrug

What cereals are you digging these days? smile

I don't know! It is BS if you ask me. I guess it is to stay with the whole "bland food" thing. Capt'n Crunch would be too yummy for them.

I love me some Cheerio's too. The multi-grain and all of those other ones they have.

And I eat it with yogurt, not milk.

Lots of other things. Cottage cheese with fresh berries...yogurt smoothies...frittatas...cold salmon and veggies.

Cereal is terrible for you. All those unfermented, processed grains... shake

They're still delicious. nod

I'm all about the cheaper store brand cereals (Publix makes a great knockoff of Honey Bunches of Oats) but Honey Nut Cheerios is one of those often-imitated, never-duplicated classics. Every imitation I've ever tried tastes like cardboard or sponges.

I used to be a real militant about food. Then I relaxed and embraced moderation. I also realized people really resented me telling them how HORRIBLE and TERRIBLE the food they enjoy is. lol

I've tried it, but I didn't like the taste as well. And that's why I have it with yogurt. lol Cultures are good for that.

If you knew me, you'd know how unmilitant I actually am about food.

But the fact remains that any "food" that's made in a factory probably isn't one's healthiest choice. People are free to do with that what they wish. shrug
