DEATH..... 3'S......DO YALL BELEIVE?

much respect to Bernie Mac and ( I jsut found out) ISSAC HAYES....

i just told my sister that Issac Hayes and she was like....uh.. "time for another one"

she was talking about the death 3s....

that isn't the first time i heard someone talk about that.... I even heard Michael Jackson talk about it before...I was wondering- how did it come about? where did this originate?

is it a myth or a coincedence?

i mean, people die all the time...how can it equate to just 3?

So far I can't confirm that report about Isaac Hayes . .

Who knows where it started but it is the suggestion that celebrity deaths occur
in groups of three's, at least.
Which is ridiculous.
It just that some deaths we notice more than others. That what get grouped in some people's minds.
No I don't believe it because if they were not celebrities they would still die and just be noticed and missed by fewer.

I notice you didn't express a personal interpretation . . . .?
I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

Soul legend Isaac Hayes dead at 65
Posted: 04:03 PM ET

(CNN) — Soul singer and arranger Isaac Hayes, who won Grammy awards and an Oscar for the theme from the 1971 action film “Shaft,” has died, sheriff’s officials in Memphis, Tennessee, reported Sunday.

Relatives found Hayes, 65, unconscious in his home next to a still-running treadmill, said Steve Schular, a spokesman for the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department. Paramedics attempted to revive him and took him to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 2 p.m. (3 p.m. ET), the sheriff’s department said.

No foul play is suspected, the agency said in a written statement.

I'm sure there were more than 3 deaths in the world since. so the death 3's, or however you call it, doesn't really apply.

No, I don't believe in the "deaths in threes" superstition.

Because it's all relative to the people we're familiar with and we bother to "start counting."

Was George Carlin the first, second or third? Do we count him first, Estelle Getty second and Bernie Mac third? Would Isaac Hayes be first in the next round then? Why?

What about Mikhail Pugovkin or Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn? They touched a lot of lives but preceded both Mac and Hayes.

shrug People die every day. The "in threes" superstition is but a human struggle to put the pain of their passing in an understandable context.

I believe a very well known Hollywood producer died this week as well.
