greatest cherry pie filling recipe in the history of everything!

This comes from my aunt, who never measures anything. But anyone who's made pie filling before knows when enough is enough, so here we go:

-Fresh cherries, halved. Preferably black cherries.
-golden brown sugar
-cinnamon
-red wine. The aunt uses chianti.
-tiny bit of lemon juice
-lil bit of flour or corn starch

It's fucking amazing. Tastes like sin in the mouth. cool

Wow, sounds awesome! I just baked two cherry pies this weekend but used a basic recipe from Food Network. I still have about 12lbs. of cherries left so I'm gonna try your recipe this time. Thanks for sharing!!
