What time does the sun rise where you are?

So I'm unable to get to sleep right now.

I'm sitting here at my Sister's place in a little town called Huntindon, England excited, but I've been awake for the last half hour, and I'm told the sun starts rising in only 30 minutes (That's 3 AM in the goddamned morning!!!!! )

The Sun NEVER rises in Florida before 6:30-ish AM eek

It dawned on me that when I lived in German the Sun rose really early in the morning too, and set really really late.

Just before 6am here this time of year. We don't as much of an extreme as the UK does as far as longest and shortest days. Thailand is in the northern hemisphere just the same though. smile

It's about the same here in Northern Germany (I'm only 5 hours away from you by boat). We've reached the height of summer, and the days will start to shorten after summer solstice (which is right about now- today or tomorrow, I think? )
Conversely, around these parts, the sun can come up as late as 8:50 am and set as early as 4pm in the dead of winter.

Huntingdon? That's near me!!!! .. but they must be closer to the sun, because the sun doesn't rise where I am until around 4.30am at the moment.

... it's the summer solstice today as well yay!
