Okay, I just had to post this, since we were talking about Sweet Peas:



I worked at a place a couple of years ago where Sweet Peas would just grow wild (not right next to the building, but in a field a couple of miles away, where there were no buildings). I used to pick some and put them in water - love them!!!

They do smell really good! When I was a kid, my backyard faced one of my neighbors back yard and she had a bunch of lilac bushes. I hopped the fence and got some from her yard a couple of times ....

Edelweiss is a beautiful flower and very soft to touch.It grows high in the mountains only.
