Great flower choices, everyone. thumbs up!

Columbines (I looooove these flowers!):

Bluebells:

Blue Bonnets (don't think these grow where I live, but I love em anyway - lol!):

I heart blue flowers, and I love the smell of Blue Bonnets (lupines).

my favorites are the blue veined orchids... mostly in the Vandas.

I never knew that Blue Bonnets had a smell. Sounds funny to say, but some flowers don't seem to have a scent (but it seems to be mostly the wildflowers that don't). Orchids are beautiful too!

They smell REALLY sweet and soft.... one of my favorite smells, sweet pea. I think that the Blue Bonnets are a close cousin. I planted some Lupines (pink/white) in my mom's yard by the doorway and when they are in bloom in the spring the scent carries into the house. Love it! The smells of hosta flowers and Lilly of the Valley is nice too, but many don't realize those flowers have a smell too giggle

nod I think Blue Bonnets are in the Sweet Pea family too, because they are kind of shaped similarly. Sweet Peas are another flower that I forgot to mention, but I love them too. Pink and white lupines sounds beautiful!!! I love lilly of the Valley too (forgot about that one).

Okay, I just had to post this, since we were talking about Sweet Peas:

I worked at a place a couple of years ago where Sweet Peas would just grow wild (not right next to the building, but in a field a couple of miles away, where there were no buildings). I used to pick some and put them in water - love them!!!

When I finally buy that house that I've been wanting (not right now, but in the future), I definitely will have a lilac bush or two in my yard.
