Have Any Of You Ever Ordered Personal (Bank) Checks Online? I want to order some bank checks that I see online, but with the scare of identity theft, I wonder if it is safe to order checks this way. I would hate to have some hacker get my checking account number and spend all my money. Have any of you ever ordered bank checks online, and what were your experiences? Positive? Negative? Whenever I need cheques, I just go online to my bank's website to order them - no problem! If you are ordering them through your bank, you should have no troubles at all. It's a misconception that most identity theft is done through people hacking websites, mostly it comes from stolen mail - HOWEVER be sure that you know the site is legitimate and make sure it uses a secure server when sending personal information. Only thru my bank, thats a secure site..never did it any other way hun..good luck | |

I did order checks today, but by phone, since it was not thru my bank, and I did not feel safe posting my information (even though the website claimed to be "safe").
