Who would YOU choose to read the audiobook version of your autobiography? I love audiobooks sometimes.
I have Amy Sedaris reading her "I Like You" book, and it's almost more entertaining than reading the book (I like the pretty pictures). I have John Waters reading his book "Shock Value", and that's a treat too. I also have Laurie Anderson reading a novel called "The Body Artist", and even though I've listened to it several times, I couldn't tell you what it's about because her voice is so pretty and soothing I'm always out like a light within 20 minutes. It's better than Xanax, I'm telling you. ANYWAY. Say you wrote your autobiography and the publisher came to you and said they're making an audiobook of it and they wanted you to choose who reads it. Who would you choose? Here's my shortlist: John Houseman (if still living; preferably drunk) Janice from The Muppet Show Linda Hunt Bobby Trendy Tracy Nelson Tracy Morgan Eartha Kitt Shane MacGowan Anthony Daniels Courtney Love Beaker from The Muppet Show ok, your turn

I'd read it myself. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
