PrintableMost of the Circuit City stores I've been to suck.  At least the ones that are still open. They closed down a lot of the stores in my area and they fired their most experienced salespeople for a bunch of minimum wage clerks. Best Buy is only slightly better. If I go to any computer store, I go to Micro Center. Not only are their prices good or better than Best Buy and Circuit City, their service is amazing and their clerks really know their products inside and out.

Customer Service does a whole lot for businesses and today Best Buy lost my business cause theres were pathetic. I believe that Circuit City employees get commission and Best Buy employees do not. I could be wrong, but I think that's how it works... If I'm correct, I prefer to show at Best Buy because I typically know what I want and I don't need someone trying to "sell" me something. On the other hand, if I have questions on products, etc, I would probably go to Circuit City because the people seem to be more informed (which, could be because they are on commission - again, if I'm wrong about the commission thing, then my logic goes down the toilet and I am officially a jackass). So far i love this computer Since money is no object to you, you might want some Best Buy stock. It's trading for about $42.50 right now. Circuit City, on the other hand is at about $4.50 and they're facing takeover by Blockbuster Video. Better shop there while you can. Studies have shown the ass crack of the average Prince fan to be abnormally large. This explains the ease and frequency of their panties bunching up in it. |
