Top Grossing College B Ball Teams

Wow...and all three big NC schools are in it. Tar Heels top the grossing schools. But that Wolfpack does well too!

I have to agree with you. But being that I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill, I can tell you that if you play for that team and you are among the decision makers, it really aligns you for a great future. I totally watched it unfold.

The players didn't get paid per se....there are mentors that work with the players and get them what they need...trust me.

No 20 year old kid is going to push a Cadillac Escalade to school...but the ball players did. Trust...

If they weren't star players, they were among a crazy network of good ol' boys and they are sooo not hurting now. I just saw Jason Capel commentating on ESPN. He didn't go pro, but he's working for ESPN. Those teams carry weight..they are just fine.

Don't know. When I was in undergrad, all the b-ball players drove identical Camero's....and those $1,000 handshakes after games.

Nothing wrong with that when you think about the millions these 'kids' generate for the NCAA.

You bring up an interesting point. Payola in the radio industry...Radio jocks get paid pennies. A lot of DJ's will take the gifts and $$$ to play their records.

A lot of million and billion dollar industries that are stingy as shit and it turns you to the "dark side" and you collect favors.

I used to be an on air jock. I didn't mix so I didn't get the perks that my scratch DJ friends got...but I understand why stuff is what it is

I look at it like this....if I'm being pimped, I'm damn sure getting MY cut.
