Do you let your special someone know your e-mail passwords?

Do you let your special someone know your e-mail passwords? I mean if your husband/wife/bf/gf asked for your e-mail/myspace/facebook/etc passwords would you let them have them?
(I am still mixed up on this)
I really like spicy food. I mostly put Jalapenos on a lot of my food.

Obviously my password on the Org is "Prince" so I doubt it would be hard for her to guess.

Nope.

Never would.

I expect and extend privacy on certain matters, email is most definitely one of them.

I agree with Carrie.

Just because you're dating or married to someone doesn't mean that they need access to every detail of your life.

Ummm...I'm not really into "signatures." I don't think I've had one since I started posting at the Org.

I'm not even sure how I would put one on. shrug

Anxiety

i think i'm a lot more guarded about these things than my bf is. one day we were at a drive-through ATM and since he was on the driver's side, he had to take out the money for me. he very casually asked "ok, what's your PIN?" and i was totally flabbergasted. it was no big deal for him, but for me it was like if i told the world that i'm spiderma...SHIT

just um, pretend those last few words didn't happen lurking

ANYWAY

i told him and later i realized it was no big deal, but i'm not used to having someone sharing information like that. generally, though, i think in terms of private thoughts and our personal communications, we respect each other's space. it's kind of creepy not to have your own private sacred space, even if it's virtual or a journal or whatever - no matter how close your relationship is.

Spookymuffin

I'd let her read through my emails etc if I was on and she asked, etc. But no, not give her my password because it'd annoy me knowing that whilst I'm at work checking my emails she could be on it too -- oh and my friends would all IM her thinking it's me,etc....basically - why bother? lol
