I have an interesting question to ask

It might sound kinda silly, but I'm gonna ask it anyways. Let's say there was a person that was cool with you back in the day. Y'all both hung out in the same circle of friends and everything. No bad blood or anything. But all of a sudden they just change on you. They don't call you or write to you or hang out with you or anything. They don't even invite you to their parties. You buy a 6-pack and THEN they'll invite you just out of pity. You're basically off their friends list on Myspace. You write a letter demanding an explanation, but they don't respond to you. And let's say there's more than one person that did this to you. You're not sure of what you did wrong. How can you be guilty of just being your own sweet self?

I thought this was going to be an interesting question.
We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Highly doubtful. If they know how to pimp out their Myspace page and shit, then they can recall that old New Wave guy. I think it's their own personal grudge.

Well if no one will tell you what happened to make them treat you this way and you can't figure it out, you have to let it go. If they want you to know what happened and make corrective action then they need to inform you of what did or did not do. Until then shrug

People drift apart. It happens from time to time. It's not always about you, maybe s/he just has different stuff going on in her/his life.

hey baby hug

seriously though if one usually loses a mass exodus of friends, then its their own behaviour
that might need to be taken into check

i agree its not nice being snubbed, but maybe the third parties feel they would be wasting their time explaining themselves..

or am i just a horrid friend neutral

if the person cannot give you the courtesy of answering your direct question about why their behaviour towards you has changed so drastically, they arent even worth any further investment. move onto finding friends who at least possess the decency and maturity to give a response when asked outright what is going on in regards to the status or state of a friendship.

See that's the thing. Part of friendship (if they are, supposedly, my friend) is honesty. If they have some kind of issue with me, then they could just tell me. I don't mind criticism. It's better than being a wolf in sheep's clothing and lying to my face.

Maybe your friend is sensitive and you said something that rubbed them the wrong way. I have a friend who is ultrasensitive and I feel like I have to watch what I say at all times for fear I might "insult" her. It's really annoying.

Hello Donnie. mushy

I'm not even talking about a mass exodus of friends, it could be just one. If the offended party asks the question, then it is not a waste of time to that person.

I don't think you're a horrible friend but if you feel like you would be wasting your time to explain, obviously that person's done something pretty bad to you.

kisses hey you.. thats what i am kinda hinting at, maybe nwf did something, maybe unintentionally..

he needs to check his actions, he lost more than one friend, which kinda indicates that his actions or behaviour may be at fault..

obviously i am just specualating, looking outside of the box so to speak..
