have you looked into some of the free blogging scripts such as Wordpress? They only take a couple of minutes to install, and theres a bunch of free templates out there for it as well. Good luck with the new site!

the reason it took me so long is that I wanted it to be all fab with videos etc but then i realized that less is more, which is what I love to live by anyway so why not do that with the site?
