Ahhh, so by your answer, the super-fine one would catch all the breaks, just to be won or kept. And, the person next door might receive less consideration because of her/his looks.

hmmm

Well, who doesn't want someone who's witty, intelligent, spiritual, philosophical, cultured AND gorgeous in their eyes?

Indeed, J. Indeed.

I'm usually not to keen on the supermodel look (blank neutral faces, no curves, too skinny) but since I'm not sure about the definition of a "girl next door" (Playboy magazine claims to feature only girls next door confuse) I can't really give an answer either way.

just pick ME! I can move in next door batting eyes

You've struck upon the real question, amigo.

Who, indeed? hmm

And, why? Sweeny explored it a little, but I would love to hear more.

hmmm I've read Sweeny's post. And I respect it. I wonder, though, given the strict parameters of your question (that is, aside from looks, the two people are absolutely on par), if the issues she addresses aren't the hang-ups of the person trying to choose between the two -- not the two people themselves. They are mostly suppositions, suspicions, etc.

No disrespect, Sweeny.

No disrespect taken smile

You are exactly right. If both people are the "same" then I'm going to choose the one I feel most comfortable with.
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

I think girls in playboy are girls next door. Just good looking ones. As in the girls aren't totally unattainable. It's like hot girls you run into at the mall. They're on the very high end of avarage
Maybe we can go to the movies and cry together

The supermodel. At least she has a job - the girl next door sounds like a lazy trollop.

What if the supermodel lived next door? That would be the best of all worlds.

Can there be a third option?

Cause I'm thinking about this and I am neither a typical girl next door and I'm far from a supermodel.

I don't see why there couldn't be a third option.

Although, posters here are seeing a far too narrow version of supermodel. And, I don't see why, given my take on the matter, you couldn't be either.

OK then let's make it: girl next door, supermodel, and odd yet attractive redhead down the hall.

Indeed. wink A nice, all-too-rare, third option.
