We have a Magnolia tree in our backyard.

We were in the backyard last weekend...and my son pointed out some pink sprouts on the tree.

You have to see it to believe it;





I think that my Maple tree must've been rubbing up against the Magnolia, don't you?


I think that it's the seed pod. The green buds you see on the branches are next year's flowers.
