Vida Guerra's ASS and Dependent Origination

Vida Guerra’s ass is something to behold. It’s smooth, round, plump, and absolutely beautiful. It both proves that God created woman, and that evolution does indeed exist.

However, what is Vida Guerra’s ass? Is it a substantial separate thing to behold? Could it exist without the blood from which her heart pumps life giving oxygen to it? Could it exist without the thin layers of skin which protect it? Without the gravity that pulls down on its succulent lobes? Without the bones and muscle that make it up? Without the countless dust mites that crawl upon her skin to pick away at decay? No!
Vida’s ass is all of these things, yet none of these things.

You can’t point out any significant part of her ass, or thing that makes up her ass, and say that those individual things form an ass that is unchanging--a true, transcendent ass. Nor can you actually say that her ass is nothing more than the sum total of those things--just an big, round, object of lesser objects. For all those lesser objects are thus made up of countless other conditions, etc. that make themselves what they are. Vida’s Guerra’ ass is truly a miracle, but a miracle in a state of change and flux--it is not a substantial or separate and permanent thing. Some of the conditions which arise to make her ass what it is (time, gravity, health, vitality, etc.) which are conditioned things themselves, will change, and thus her beautiful round ass will sag and wrinkle over time, before it eventually is returned to dirt, rotting in the bosom of mother earth.

If Vida’s ass were a glass of water, it would not stay delicious and nurturing forever. Eventually, it would turn rancid, or slowly evaporate. Like the Buddhist say, holding on to the notion of a “soul” is like grasping desperately to a glass of water, when outside your window there is a river.

Does this mean there is no ass? Of course not. But there is no permanent, unchanging, separate ass by itself. If Vida’s ass had its own personality. Lets say, her ass is so spectacular, it has its own ego--its own soul. And lets represent that soul as a flame on a candle. Eventually, that candle burns away and you must light a second candle with that flame, and blow the old one out. Let’s say you continue this process until you’ve burned through a dozen candles. Would the flame on the final candle be the same as the flame on the first candle? No, it wouldn’t. Certainly it passed a certain raw essence from candle to candle, but each candles wick gave the new flame its own character. In this way the flame is completely dependent on the candle that supported it, and that candle’s characteristics completely depending on the candle maker, wax type, size, etc. etc. The flame simple could not exist as its own “thing”. There is no everlasting, unchanging soul. It always changes depending on the vessel, experiences, and consciousness streams that it entertains at any given time.

You see, Vida’s ass proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that all things are dependently co-arising, ever changing, and ultimately unsatisfactory in their impermanence, despite how yummy delicious the current state of them might be.
