Tales of the supernatural

I don't really believe in the supernatural so much although I think that ghosts are real.

Have you ever had an experience with the supernatural? Did you poop your pants?!

To answer JD's question.....I do believe in ghosts...and I have actually seen one. It was the ghost of my Uncle. I was in my bedroom, which was in the basement....and I had these chairs in my room, which were straight across from the foot of my bed. Well I had just gone to bed, got myself all cozy, and I looked over to the chairs, and there was my Uncle, sitting in one. He looked like he was trying to tell me something. I hid under my covers, and when I got the courage to look again he was gone. Now...that I am older, I almost think it was my Uncle telling me good-bye and that he loved me. Because after I saw his ghost, I felt at peace about his passing.

I have a few others....but if I tell to many, you all will start thinking I am crazy instead of friendly. lol

Ok....

Ive had some experiences but something that has been freaking out our family is my neice and nephew talking about my mother.

My neice is 3 and she has NEVER met my mom. She was born two months before my mom died. Braylee talks about my mother in present tense. eek

She said recently, "I just love Grandest". My sister in law was like...uh ok. Braylee, was like..."she's great mommy." eek My sister in law was a little freaked out about that and how much Braylee will just bring her up out of the blue.

My nephew also talks about her in present tense. he will correct you if you call something yours and it was previously my moms. He'll say stuff like....no..that's Grandest stuff or I'll tell Grandest. eek

Its a little spooky with them kids. lol

I have a couple of visiting spirits in my house. They come and go. Our house was built on an old cotton mill and the spirits died in the cotton mill. One is an old man who likes to watch the telly and won't let us shut the lounge door and opens it.

The other one is a little girl called Sarah who fell in to the machinery at the cotton mill. She is aged about 10. My father who is a sensitive visited my house and said that there was something in the house.

They also walk up the stairs and across the landing and you can hear their distinctive footsteps.

They don;t bother us at all. They just visit and go again. Ours in not the only house they visit in our street. They also go to a few houses but Sarah moves things about and can be a nuisance in theirs.

So I do believe that there is something after death.

Moni, we were gonna start this thread weren't we ?
Glad JDI did, so I don't get hah!'d

First the funny story:

Me and my wife went to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on our honeymoon. We got friends
there and one night they start telling ghost stories ...
My wife doesn't like that kind of stories and she didn't sleep a wink that night. At 5am she wakes me up, saying there is someone talking next to our window (we are on the 25th floor !!!)

I listen and yes ... I hear a voice too
but I can't understand what it's saying
so I listen some more
and then the nickle drops

Malaysia is a muslim country
5am = call for prayer
from the mosque
falloff

I can't believe I forgot about this.

In February of last year, I was in the east bay at my Oma's (grandmothers's) beside in her last days. She was diagnosed with cancer and it was at the latest stages. There was about eight of us crammed into that half of the room when she took her last breath. Immediately afterward, her son (my step-uncle), quickly ran down into the courtyard outside her window and released a yellow balloon. I felt her arms around me, I swear it. The balloon then whisked up outside of our window on the fourth floor, stayed there motionless aside us for a moment, and whirled upward in a furious circular motion until it disappeared. We were incredulous. My uncle Dave was down there jumping and waving his arms in response to make sure we'd seen it, and we all laughed together for a few minutes, which is exactly how my Oma would have wanted it. What I remember most about her is her laughter. In my whole life, I'd never seen her without a smile on her face.

Oh, yes and fairly recently too. For the last few weeks we have had Spirit here. A sweet, helpful one. My wife lost some flowers, she liked, yellow daffodil replicas. And they were gone for months. Then one appeared on our dresser, then a few days later the other appeared on the floor of the den. And most recently A light in the hall. It was missing too. She said she wondered what happened to the light in the hall. And during the night the next morning it had been placed where it had originally been. No one had been up. Sometime during the night. Something replaced it. So the Spirit is here. Not a threatening spirit more of a comfort. I've seen Spirits before. But this one is of a positive notion. I hope. Maybe there is channel gateway and some else could come around. eek

One night when my mother and grandmother were asleep in different rooms and they BOTH felt a kind of pressure like someone pushing on their feet. My mum turned on her bedroom tv and it went away and my grandma, who's a bit of a non believer, kicked at it thinking it was the cat giggle It never came back, probably from concussion. lol

I often see things in the corner of my eye in my room, only when I'm alone and the lights are out. I get that "feeling" where i know there's something there. boxed

many many years ago ... I was waiting out on my front porch for my bf to pick me up .. I was about 16 at the time ... off in the distance about 500 yards away, I had looked up, and I swear I saw a grim reaper type of figure rise up out of the ground.. I was so scared I ran back into my house and talked to my mom about nothing because I was so freaked. Just to clarify .. I wasn't on anything!!
